C’est en s’intéressant aux liens entre paysages et vivant-es qui les composent qu’Elisa a commencé à raconter des histoires habitées par des fougères attentives, des astronautes et des vaches rebelles. Elle observe, cueille des fleurs, collecte des bouts de tissu, des feuilles de thé, des récits et des rapports scientifiques. Autant de fragments qu’elle assemble pour créer des narrations hybrides qu’elle écrit, filme et performe, seule ou avec des amis, afin d’imaginer des futurs désirables.
Elisa takes her inspiration from the connections between landscapes and the living beings within them, to tell her stories about mindful ferns, astronauts and rebellious cows. She observes her surroundings, collects flowers, pieces of fabric, tea leaves, writings and scientific reports. She assembles an array of fragments to create hybrid narratives that she writes, films and performs, either alone or with friends, to portray her ideas for desirable outcomes for the future.

À l’ombre bleue des eukaryotas révèle la silhouette de fleurs, feuilles, brindilles, mousses et brins d’herbe glanés dans le Massif du Sancy au hasard d’une balade. Grâce au soleil, leur forme organique s’inscrit en creux dans le bleu profond des cyanotypes imprimés sur de vastes pans de tissus brodés. Ces bannières végétales invitent à écouter les modulations du vent dans les branches et le tissu, à sentir des parfums, ressentir des textures, chercher les plantes qui ont offert leurs silhouettes. Cette création est une façon d’imaginer des négociations joyeuses pour participer à un écosystème sans l’envahir.

À l’ombre bleue des eukaryotas displays the outlines of flowers, leaves, twigs, moss and blades of grass, that visitors will come across on a walk through the Sancy mountains. Thanks to the sun, the organic shapes blend into the deep blue background of the cyanotypes printed onto huge pieces of embroidered fabric. These banners featuring plant designs invite visitors to listen to the wind blowing through the branches and the fabric, to smell the scents, feel the textures, and to look for the plants displayed on the banners. This creation is a way of imagining the wonderful interactions in order to contribute to an ecosystem without encroaching on it.
